One of the Micro finance Institutions registered under the company Act, 2063 on 2070-03-28 as public limited Company having Registration number 114029/069/070 in Company Registrar Office, Kathmandu, Nepal and licensed by Nepal Rastra Bank (Central Bank of Nepal) as a 'D' class financial institution on 2070-12-30 with Reg. No. 36/070/071 to operate under bank and financial institution act 2073. We locate at Sanga, Banepa Municipality,ward no. 14,Kavrepalanchowk district,Province No. 3 of Nepal.

It started formal microfinance institution from 2071-04-01. Before we were established we were as NGO(Women Development Center of Nepal-WDCN), which carried out earlier its own microfinace activities in 6 districts including Kavrepalanchowk district. Thus, as an initiative of WDCN and with the help from various promoters, SLBSL was established.

As we are one of the financial service providers in Nepal, we simply provide small loans to the people of remote areas for their income generating businesses. As a financial institution, Samudayik Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited(SLBSL), we promise to serve in very remote and unreached areas of various districts of Nepal.

The company had been established having a spirit to spread of micro credit services to the unreached and backward people to uplift them towards their business promotion and a regular income earning activities like buffalo keeping, goat keeping, aggro based business, vegetable farming, pig farming, small shops, trades, hotels, wholesale business, microenterprises and many more. The institution has merged the another 'D' classed microfincace Institution named 'BPW Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited' from 7th March,2024 and then being 'Samudayik Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited'. It has reached in 18 districts(Kavrepalanchowk, Sindhupalchowk, Dolakha, Ramechhap, Nuwakot, Makwanpur, Lalitpur, Bhaktapur, Kathmandu, Rasuwa, Chitwan, Dhadhing, Sindhuli,Okhaldhunga, Solukhumbu, Khotang, Bhojpur, Sankhuwasabha districts) at present. And in recent future, SLBSL is extending as national level micro finance institution. Currently the Chief Executive Officer(CEO) of this company is Mr. Dilip Kumar Pokharel and the chairman of this institution is Mr. Nanda Kumar Maharjan.
